What is Paint Me Bear?
Paint Me Bear is a paint-your-own art studio where kids and adults decorate collectible bear figurines using fun drip and pour painting techniques. No art experience is needed: every class is guided by an art instructor, all supplies are included, and you take your finished bear home.
Where are your studios?
We have two studios:
- SoHo, New York City — 343 Broome St, New York, NY 10013. Open Tuesday 3–8 pm, Thursday–Friday 3–8 pm, Saturday–Sunday 12–8 pm.
- Bergen Town Center, Paramus, NJ — inside Bergen Town Center, Paramus, NJ 07652. Open Monday–Thursday 10:30 am–8 pm, Friday–Saturday 10 am–9 pm, closed Sunday.
- Newport Center, Jersey City - is coming Fall 2026.
Who are your classes for?
Our classes are for kids and adults alike. They are popular for family outings, date nights, friend groups, birthdays and team building.
Art Classes
How do I book a class?
Book online: art classes in SoHo, NYC or art classes at Bergen Town Center, NJ. You choose your figurine when you book.
How much does a class cost?
The price depends on the size/figurine you choose. Classes in SoHo start at $55. In Bergen Town Center start at $38. Group deals are available!
Can two people paint one bear?
No. Our class is designed for one person — one bear, so everyone gets the full creative experience.
When can I take my bear home?
Bears need three days to fully dry before pick-up. We hold finished bears for up to 3 weeks. If you are traveling and need an earlier pick-up, email us.
Can you ship my bear?
Yes, shipping is available for an additional fee. Orders usually ship within 10 days, as some bears need extra time to dry.
Can I reschedule my reservation?
Yes, you can reschedule a weekly art session up to 72 hours before your reserved date. Missed reservations cannot be rescheduled. We do not offer refunds for weekly art classes.
Kids Birthday Parties & Private Events
What is included in a birthday party?
Every party includes 2 hours exclusive time in the studio, a figurine for every guest, all materials, an art instructors and pizza!! Decorations can be added. An 18% gratuity will be applied to the final amount.
How many guests can I invite?
Studio parties are for groups up to 30 guests. For larger groups, contact us for a custom quote.
How much does a birthday party cost?
Packages are priced by group size. Parties at Bergen Town Center (Paramus, NJ) start at $599 and parties in SoHo start at $699. Weekend dates are priced higher. See Events & Parties for details.
Can you host the party at my home, school or office?
Yes! Our instructor brings all the materials. Off-site events require a minimum of 13 guests.
What is your cancellation policy for private events?
Full refunds are available up to 4 weeks before your event, and a 50% refund up to 3 weeks before. Within 2 weeks of the event, refunds are no longer possible. Rescheduling depends on availability and is possible up to 2 weeks before the event.
Corporate Events & Team Building
Do you host corporate events?
Yes. We host team building and corporate art events in both studios for groups of 10 or more, and we can also come to your office. Pricing is per person and depends on the figurine size. Contact us for a quote.
Kits, Gifts & Custom Art
Can I paint a bear at home?
Yes! Our at-home bear painting kits include a figurine, paints and instructions, and ship across the US. We also sell a DIY Bedazzle Keychain Kit for $24.99.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, Paint Me Bear gift cards can be used for classes, kits and parties.
Can I order a custom painted bear?
Yes, we create custom hand-painted bear sculptures up to 3 feet tall for homes, offices, stores and events. Request a custom bear.
